Of course! Our costumes are hired for events and occasions that are't in New Zealand all the time. Just let us know when you hire the costume.
Can I try the costume on?
Absolutely. You're welcome to wander around the shop and choose a selection of costumes to try on. We encourage you to get into it and have fun – you really need to get it on to see if it suits you.
How do I get to the shop?
We're at 124 Devenport Road in Central Tauranga, opposite Farmers.
How long can I have the costume for?
Usually it's a three day hire – out on a Friday and back on a Tuesday. If you need something for a longer period of time, or during the week, we are happy to make arrangements with you for that. Also, if you are going out of town and can’t return the costume in time, we are happy for you to courier it back to us at your own cost.
How much is all this going to cost me?
Our prices range from $20 for a basic one piece item and go up to $120 for a deluxe multi piece costume. We do our best to find you something within your budget that will suit your theme.
I'm a difficult customer. How can you suit my specific needs?
We offer a personal service and if you have any particular needs we will do our best to find a solution. We often have people come in, and for one reason or another feel uncomfortable with dressing up, but we are proud to say that we have a high success rate finding the best thing for each individual. Don’t be shy.... come in and see how we can help you.
I have to wear a costume to a formal occasion. Will it be dressy enough?
Our costumes are of a very high standard. We have dressed Brides & Grooms, Wedding Parties, Anniversary Couples, Masquerade Ball Couples and groups for Work Functions. 9/10 customers report back to us that they received the prize for the ‘BEST COSTUME’. We will help you find the right thing to suit your special occasion.
Is this costume going to fit me?
We have a fabulous selection to suit all sizes, styles and ages. Our sizing ranges from 8/10 – 16/18 with a little bit of room for adjustment. If you like something and it doesn’t quite fit, we will make every effort to adjust it to suit your body shape. (Please note that some costumes cannot be adjusted)
We want lots of costumes for big group. Will you give us a deal?
YES! If you have a group of six or more hiring a full costume each, we will give you a 10% discount. Larger groups (over 20) may be eligible for a larger discount. Just have a chat to us and we will let you know what we can do.
What am I going to wear with the costume?
We have a wide range of accessories for hire and sale that will suit your costume. We also offer advice on makeup, footwear and hairstyles.
